Second Wind.
Vancouver's 55+ Walk & Run Club

The best kilometres are still to come.

A friendly Wednesday-morning club for adults 55 and over. Walk 5 km or run 10 km along Vancouver's waterfront, then stay for coffee.

Anyone 55+ who would rather not walk alone.

Walkers

About 5 km at a conversational pace on flat, paved waterfront paths. Nobody gets left behind.

Runners

Start with the walkers, then carry on to the 5 km mark and back for roughly 10 km.

Coffee people

Every route finishes a few minutes from a café. Many of us think this is the main event.

A Wednesday with us

Out, back, and a table at the café.

  1. MeetGather at the week's meeting point and say hello.
  2. Head out togetherWalkers and runners leave on the same path.
  3. Walkers turnRunners continue to their own turnaround near 5 km.
  4. CoffeeWalkers get the table. Runners join when they're back.
Where we go

Five routes around Kitsilano, Point Grey and False Creek.

We rotate through these. Each strip shows the one-way distance from the meeting point: walkers turn at the first marker, runners at the second.
